This adapter has not shut down once in the 3 weeks since installation, comes right back online after computer hibernation, and as a bonus is unmistakable faster in both initiating network connections and data transfer. When I found this Panda rated the second best adapter among a dozen tested in a recent (2017) review, I was skeptical because of its low price.(Apparently so were the reviewers).
